NEW YORK (TURKISH JOURNAL) – By Janet Ekstract- New York City’s Governor Andrew Cuomo in his daily briefing on Monday urged everyone to stay home and reiterated: “This is a deadly, serious situation. ”He reminded everyone that: “This virus doesn’t discriminate, it attacks everyone, everywhere.” The governor added: “In this situation, there are no red states and there are no blue states.”
Cuomo explained: “If you are not preparing for the apex and for the high point, you are missing the entire point of the operation.” He said that to prepare only for the present situation is a “fundamental blunder.” The governor added: “We’re behind on this virus from day one.” He urged everyone to “Do it now, prepare now!”
The stockpile concept, Cuomo explained, is to prepare for the future. When asked about supplies being hoarded and that President Trump said that – Cuomo’s response was: “I don’t know what he means when he says that.” The New York governor said he welcomes a partnership with the president to deal with the coronavirus situation and concluded: “I’m not engaging in politics with him.
Cuomo emphasized: “Let’s show a unity and a commonality.”
