The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has warned that time is running low in Gaza, with many children facing severe acute malnutrition.
Catherine Russell, Executive Director of UNICEF, shared a message from her X social media account.
Noting that the danger of starvation has increased, Russell stressed that hundreds of thousands of children may soon suffer from severe nutritional deficiencies.
Russell said, “Time is running out. Many children are already facing severe acute malnutrition” he said.
Underlining that some children may be at risk of death, Russell noted that they cannot allow this to happen. (AA)
