The Choir of Civilizations of Antakya will be at in Washington DC.
The Civilizations Choir of Antakya in Turkey, composed of members from the southern city’s rich mosaic of peoples, is set to bring messages of friendship and peace to the world with 14 concerts in 14 countries, including tonight’s engagement at The Howard Theatre in Washington, DC.
Nominated for a 2012 Nobel Peace Prize, the choir’s goal is to show the people of the world that they can live together in a peaceful environment. The Civilization Choir of Antakya includes 130 members from three different religions in Turkey.
The performance will be held at Howard Theatre. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the show stars at 8:00 pm.
