NEW YORK (TURKISH JOURNAL)- Dilek Kaya – President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan, accompanied by a delegation, attended the 78th United Nations (UN) 78th International Conference. He arrived in New York to attend the General Assembly and hold various meetings with the leaders of other countries.
President Erdoğan and his delegation were welcomed by citizens at the Turkish House, where the Consulate General in New York is located, and received great interest from the press.
President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Head of National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Advisor Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, AK Party Deputy Chairman Binali Yıldırım, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik and some state officials also arrived in New York.
Traffic came to a standstill from time to time around the Turkish House in New York, where security measures were taken to the highest level.
