United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the UN Security Council’s (UNSC) report on the decision against Gaza, where Israel continues its attacks, said it needed “to stop the conflict. (AA)

Guterres submitted the first UN Security Council report to the Security Council after a decision on December 22nd to take urgent steps towards the accession of aid to Gaza.

In his report, the Secretary-General pointed out the extent of destruction caused by Israeli attacks and civilians who have lost their lives, particularly in the north of Gaza, “We need to stop the conflict.


The report found that the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) used explosive weapons with a large area impact in densely populated areas “more than 60 percent of homes in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed” his prediction was given place.


The report said that although the UN Agency for the Relief of Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) shares the coordinates of all its facilities in Gaza with all parties to the conflict, there have been 125 attacks on 193 facilities of the organization, information was shared that 308 Palestinians who took refuge in these facilities were killed and about 1,095 were injured.


The report also states that “World Health Organization since the beginning of Israel’s current military operations in Gaza, 600 Hospitals and other medical facilities, which have disrupted health care and resulted in the deaths of about 94 people, and 76 ambulances, were affected by 294 attacks” the report said.
In its report, the UN Secretary-General addressed details on the revelation of the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza, pointing to the urgency of humanitarian aid.(AA)
