Turkish Journal – Zehranur Ertek – Britain’s biggest film celebration – the BAFTA Awards – will take place today to honor the best movies in 2023.
The awards themselves will be handed out beginning at 5 p.m. local time today at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall and will be hosted by David Tennant.
“Oppenheimer”, one of the highest-grossing films of 2023, is the most nominated film with 13 nominations.
Previous BAFTA and Oscar winner Emma Stone is assertive again with “Poor Things” at this awards ceremony. The film, which tells the story of Bella being brought back to life by an extraordinary scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, has 11 nods.
“The Zone of Interest” and “Killers of the Flower Moon”, which have 9 nominations, are among the other highly anticipated films of the ceremony.
