EU condemns killing of aid workers in Israeli attack on Gaza
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and EU Commissioner for crisis management and humanitarian assistance Janez Lenarcic said, social media platform X reacted to the killing of humanitarian workers yesterday in the Israeli attack.
“I condemn the attack and call for an investigation” Borrell said, “We see new innocent losses despite all demands for the protection of civilians and humanitarian workers.
Lenarcic said, “I condemn another attack on humanitarian workers in Gaza. This should stop now. He now shared the ceasefire” message.
7 Aid workers lost their lives
WCK, the US-based international aid organisation, said 7 people were killed in the Israeli attack in Gaza yesterday.
In a statement from WCK, “This is a tragedy. Humanitarian aid workers and civilians should never and never be targets” he said.
The Israeli military said, “The military is conducting a thorough investigation at the highest level to understand the circumstances of this tragic event. (AA)
