President Joe Biden was at church in Rehoboth, Delaware when Trump was hit at the rally and has been briefed on the situation. In addition, law enforcement said the shooter is allegedly down, according to previous media reports. Meanwhile, CNN reached out to the U.S. Secret Service for more information as to exactly what happened at the rally. Reporters who were traveling with Trump known as pool reporters, according to Dasha Burns from NBC News, said they heard a series of loud bangs and heard residual bangs, afterwards.
