As analysts indicate, “Trump will use this situation” as a way to show that he is out with the people and not afraid to speak out. White House reporter for Politico Daniel Litman said “People are shocked and are very sad at what happened,” and “that we’ve seen an uptick in political violence in recent years.” Litman was asked by TRT World International, how much is Trump responsible with his political rhetoric for such an incident. A Republican strategist said he believes it was an assassination attempt on Trump’s life, according to reports from TRT World International and “that it will be a major story.” “This will be major, major issue for everyone at the ballot box,” TRT World International reported on Saturday evening.
